Anthony Morais – Designer

Cover designer 14+ yrs that specializes in mass-market to indie cover designs for adult and YA. Happy to help you create a masterpiece cover

Overview

I have been cover designing in publishing for the last 14+ years. Recently I was working as the art director at Little Brown on the adult hardcover titles for James Patterson. Prior to working with Patterson, I have been freelance art directing and designing indie book covers from children to adults as well as some occasional interior and package for a number of publishers and award-winning authors. Open to all types of design work ranging from book cover design /packaging /product/branding.

I am outgoing, creative, communicative, and enjoy working with authors and editors through the design process. I can create designs for all genres but I really enjoy designing thrillers, horror, and suspense. stand-alone. I can design illustrations as well as illustrate accordingly for any project whether it is mass-market or indie, whether it be book cover or interior illustrations. If you are on a limited budget and need a complete cover design I am more than happy to tackle any project

I think Anthony is talented and has good interpretation given the project we did. He was enthusiastic and excited about my book and had good ideas for the cover design. He was, however, quite busy with his day job so it took a while to get things done, get responses and finish up the project. We are still not quite done, but hopefully soon. I would caution making sure you leave extra time for c...

He did amazing brining my cover to life! I would definitely want to use him for my next cover. He's very talented and easy to talk with about what my cover needed. I love how he was able to match the dark theme to my last book cover also! I can’t brag enough about how talented he is. I can’t wait to use my cover. My only complaint was that sometimes it’d take a few days to get a response, but...

Anthony was amazing to work with. We started with some basic ideas and it morphed to a great cover that pops. He was very patient with me as I was slower getting back to him on questions and changes. I would definitely recommend him and hope to utilize his services again.
