Overview

I'm a freelance Cookery/Food Copy Editor and Proofreader, with over 26 years of freelance experience and expertise in cookery/food titles. My background in food writing helps enormously with my editorial work.

I am very organised, competent, thorough, meticulous, clear and sensitive in my work, as well as being reliable, flexible and used to working to tight deadlines.

I have worked with many different food writers, chefs and bloggers over the years, as well as various publishers, including BBC Books, Ebury Press, Headline Home, Hodder & Stoughton, Kyle Books, Nourish Books/Watkins, Octopus, Parragon UK, Quadrille, Ryland, Peters & Small, Square Peg and Transworld. As well as cookery/food titles, I also work on recipe-led health and diet books.

Additionally, I am a long-standing member of the prestigious Guild of Food Writers in the UK. I am based in North Dorset (UK).
