Overview
As well as cookery/food titles, I also work on recipe-led health, diet and nutrition books.
Additionally, I do ebook checking (and proofreading - either on hard copy or digitally) on all non-fiction titles (including cookery/food, health and other home/lifestyle titles, such as arts and crafts, gardening, narrative, etc).
I am very organised, competent, thorough, meticulous, clear and sensitive in my work, as well as being reliable, flexible and used to working to tight deadlines.
I have worked with many different food writers, chefs and bloggers over the years, as well as various publishers, including BBC Books, Chelsea Green Publishing, Dorling Kindersley, Ebury Publishing, HarperCollins, Headline Home, Hodder & Stoughton, Kyle Books, Nourish Books/Watkins, Octopus Publishing Group, Orion Books, Parragon UK, Pavilion Books, Quadrille, Ryland, Peters & Small, Square Peg, The Bright Press, Transworld and Whitefox Publishing.
Additionally, I am a long-standing member of the prestigious Guild of Food Writers in the UK. I am based in Oxfordshire (UK).
My latest CV, which details all the freelance copy-editing, proofreading and writing projects I have completed to date, is available on request.
