As an experienced travel editor, I enjoy working collaboratively with writers to prepare their manuscripts for publication. I am an accomplished line- and copy-editor, able to fine-tune and polish your language to showcase the unique style and tone of your authorial voice. I am experienced in editing British, American and Australian English manuscripts, and also have plenty of proofreading and indexing experience. I bring my passion for travel to my work, always approaching text from the perspective of a reader who loves to travel and to read about new places and experiences. When performing editorial assessments and developmental edits, I provide constructive feedback on ways to strengthen the structure of your narrative and bring the experiences described alive for the reader in a vivid and immersive way. I have many years of experience coaching both new and expert travel writers to elevate the quality of their writing, making it more evocative, engaging and nuanced. In addition to travel, I love nature and the outdoors, and I am a keen hiker, skier and rock climber. I have extensive experience editing guidebooks, travelogues, inspirational books and numerous online articles on topics including travel, cuisine and outdoor activities.
