Anna Labinskaya – Designer

I've been working as an independent freelance illustrator for the last 5 years. Based outside of Vancouver, BC, when not drawing I'm enjoying the company of my kids, the outdoors, or a good book :- )My work process is systematic and flexible because I like to make sure we collaborate closely starting with a sketch and taking it to the final illustration. We achieve this through sharing and discussing the work at every stage. Based on a description of the desired illustrations or on an original text or its summary, I draw a few preliminary sketches. Then based on the feedback, I make changes, and we eventually come to the final approved sketches. You may have a specific style in mind from the beginning or we can make a few style experiments at this point. Once we have agreed on a style, I get the final illustrations done, and we make adjustments as needed to finalize them.
