Anna Karina Maduro – Editor

I am a freelance editor with over seven years of publishing-industry experience, having held editorial positions at HarperCollins, Bloomsbury, Pan Macmillan and Hachette. I have also undertaken proofreading and copy-editing training at the Chartered Institute of Editors and Proofreaders (CIEP).

I specialise in non-fiction books, particularly self-help, history, memoirs and biographies. In particular, I am passionate about non-fiction books that have a positive impact on readers, whether it's a self-help book that provides support or a biography that sparks inspiration.

I provide developmental editing services, working closely with authors to improve and refine their manuscripts. In particular, I advise on structure, flow and tone - always with the reader in mind. Above all, my favourite part of structural editing is having the opportunity to collaborate with authors to truly bring their voice and vision to life.
