Overview
“I highly recommend Andy Rogers as both an editor and a writer. Andy is conscientious, smart, talented, and passionate about his editorial work, and I am delighted for anyone who gets the wonderful opportunity to work with him.”
Carolyn McCready, Executive Editor, HarperCollins Christian Publishing
As a published ghostwriter and former editor for one of the big five publishers, I know what it takes to produce an excellent manuscript. I joined the book industry in 2007 and have worked on hundreds of successful book projects for major publishing houses, independent publishers, and nonprofit organizations. I specialize in ghostwriting and developing and writing book proposals. I'm an award-winning short fiction writer and the author of eight books, and I have contributed to numerous others.
When you work with me you will receive:
- A publisher-ready manuscript. Whether you're pursuing a book deal with a traditional publisher or working with a hybrid or self-publisher, the manuscript will be clean, compelling, and ready to be shared.
- A reader-centered manuscript that focuses on their felt needs, strong narrative and organizational structure, and clear takeaways. (Even fiction and memoir have a felt need--to get lost in a compelling story!)
- A project that wraps up on or before the deadline without exceeding the budget.
- Fair and competitive pricing.
My approach to ghostwriting can be summed up as follows: You have an amazing story to tell. Let's figure out the most compelling way to tell it.
As I said above, my overall goal will be to help you produce a publisher-ready manuscript. Let's get your book done!
