Hi, I’m Andrea! I’m excited to work with you on your next book project.

I’m a copyeditor and proofreader with 13+ years of experience in the publishing industry (Running Press, Union Square & Co./Sterling Publishing, Hearst Books, Rodale Books, Epic Originals), and I specialize in a wide variety of genres. I have a natural eye for detail and have always considered myself a professional bookworm!

My experience runs the gamut from trade and digital children’s books (including board books, picture books, middle grade, and comics) to adult fiction and nonfiction. I have also worked on various branded titles for Hearst magazines, such as Good Housekeeping, Cosmopolitan, Esquire, Runner’s World, House Beautiful, Country Living, Veranda, and Redbook.

Because I also have experience as a developmental editor, I offer more than just a thorough copyedit and/or proofread—I point out high-level story problems, potential plot holes, timeline discrepancies, and character inconsistencies, among other details.

I have lots of experience with creating project-specific style guides, and I am comfortable editing within the confines of CMoS and AP style as well as any unique style rules you may have.
