Seasoned designer-illustrator keen on wellness, cooking, kids, art, the natural world and the public good. Meticulous, creative, amiable.
Overview
With almost 20 years of book designing, I’ve worked with fresh new voices, award-winning authors, publishing houses like Shambhala Publications, and everything in between. My style runs the gamut from fresh, fun, and creative to more serious, graphic, informational work. I’m comfortable being self-directed, as well as collaborating, and have experience directing illustrators and photographers. Besides book covers and interior page layout design, I can produce vector graphics, watercolor illustrations and pen-work, among other illustration mediums. I cut my design teeth in NYC for nearly a decade, and now call Boston home. When I’m not in my design studio, I can be found scribbling with my son and reading under the covers with a flashlight. Select Clients:Shambhala Publications, Roost Books, Quarto Publishing, Quercus Books, Sterling Publishing, Black Dog Publishing, and University of California.
