Alexander Rigby – Editor

An editor with eight years of experience who has worked on projects from Amazon Publishing, National Geographic, Disney, and more.

Overview

Alexander Rigby has worked as an editor, writer, and project manager in the publishing, travel, and health care industries. He is a passionate wordsmith and enjoys crafting creative content that is both engaging and dynamic. In his spare time he is the Editor-in-Chief of the magazine Allegory Ridge, which publishes travel writing, fiction, artwork, and photography of the millennial generation. He is the author of three novels: Bender, What Happened to Marilyn, and The Second Chances of Priam Wood.

Editing is such a collaborate process, and as an independently published author myself, I know what it's like to pour a lot of heart and effort into a manuscript. I work with authors by first getting a complete understanding of their story and the inspiration behind it before diving into editing. I think it's important to always keep an author's goals in mind to be sure their story is improved as much as possible. Since I have worked as an editor in both the commercial and self-publishing fields, I have a wealth of knowledge on the publishing process that I'm happy to share with clients as I edit their work.
