Alexa Tewkesbury

Alexa Tewkesbury – Editor

Author, copy editor & proofreader offering a sensitive approach to editing fiction/non-fiction & children's books.

Overview

I'm a freelance author, copy editor and proofreader and have considerable experience in copy editing and proofreading fiction and non-fiction, children's books and resources, and magazines. For over 13 years, I have worked with both independent authors/publishers and traditional publishing houses, including:

• SPCK Publishing (London)
• CWR (Farnham)
• Lion Hudson (Oxford)

My copy editing and proofreading services can help you achieve a professional finish that will do justice to your writing. I will offer comments on content and suggestions for sentence rewording, as necessary, to improve clarity and flow.

As an author myself, I appreciate the importance of clearly written text and polished presentation. At the same time, my editing approach will always be sensitive to your authorial voice. I care about the quality of your words as much as you do, and will work with you to help you achieve a professional finish to your writing.

Testimonial from a happy client:
