Abi Pollokoff – Designer

Hi there! My name is Abi, and I'm a publishing professional excited about helping your book come to life.

I've been working in publishing for 10+ years, but I've been a reader and writer much longer than that. My favorite genres include poetry, fantasy, and upmarket fiction, but I also dig into cookbooks, memoir, and history! Along with my design work, I've spend a lot of time in editorial thinking about commas and modifiers. I also published my debut poetry collection in 2025! As a published author, I understand the personal and professional stakes of putting a book into the world. I lead with empathy and understanding to make sure my authors have wonderful publishing experiences.

A bit about my design approach: My goal as a book designer—no matter the genre—is to make sure the reading experience is smooth, accessible, and enjoyable. By connecting your work to creative vision and adding in a sprinkle of design best practices, I can help you hone in on the best way to present and publish your work. My background from many years on the editorial side of the table means that accuracy is top of mind when I'm working on a project. I stay positive, productive, and professional across the working experience.
