Abby Saul – Editor

I'm a literary agent who specializes in commercial/genre and literary fiction and select nonfiction (cooking, narrative)

Overview

With 10 years of publishing experience, I'm an editorial expert with a passion for making your book the most fantastic read possible. I'm also the founder of a literary agency specializing in adult literary and commercial fiction, and I'm a trained editor, production editor, proofreader, and copyeditor. I've worked with and edited award-winning and bestselling authors and brands like William Kent Krueger, Francine Rivers, Sandra Dallas, Nicole Baart, Elizabeth Blackwell, Kristen Simmons, Lee Sandlin, Mark Bittman, Better Homes & Gardens, Betty Crocker, and Nickelodeon.

My experience encompasses everything from developmental editing to prep a manuscript for submission to editors; proofreading page proofs; creating and formatting ebooks for self- or professional publishing; and copyediting final manuscripts. My agency experience makes me a great fit for micro and macro edits for manuscripts and query letters! (Please note: My portfolio is a sampling of the hundreds of books I've worked on over my career - happy to share more specifics with interested clients.)
