With more than twenty years of publishing experience, I know how to edit a book with regards to all of its aspects--including publicity, marketing, sales to bookstore accounts, and the entertainment and edification of the reader.
I work with the author to make the book the best it can be, but am respectful of the author's artistic integrity as well as the time and effort poured into the project.
I'm always looking to accentuate the most important or surprising components of an author's work. I look to highlight these hidden gems to help make the manuscript shine.
The bottom line is that I'm on the author's side to make their book as readable and marketable as possible. I'm very accessible and easy to work with.

Acquired for publication dozens of books under the Post Hill Press, Permuted Press, and Knox Press imprints. Conducted developmental edits and copy edits if necessary. Worked with authors from the acquisition process through publication.
Regnery Publishing
Worked in Marketing for eleven years and for twelve years served as associate publisher for imprint I founded called Regnery History. Published more than 100 titles and was involved in every aspect of the imprint's titles.
