Stacia Deutsch

Stacia Deutsch – Ghostwriter

New York Times Best Selling author of more than 300 children's books. I write mid-grade, picture books, YA and more!

Overview

I am the New York Times Best Selling author of more than three hundred children's books. I started my career with the award-winning chapter book series, Blast to the Past. Since then, my books include the popular Girls Who Code: The Friendship Code and 6 original titles for Netflix's Spirit: Riding Free.

My resume includes non-fiction biographies for historical figures as well as junior movie tie-in novels for blockbuster films, like Boss Baby 2, Batman Dark Knight, Hotel Transylvania, and The Smurfs. I launched the Boxcar Children mystery spin-off called The Jessie Files and worked as a project editor/writer on a Barbie non-fiction.

When it comes to ghost writing, I am fiercely protective of my clients and only reveal names if the client agrees. I'll sign an NDA, but you can trust me when privacy is required. Let me say this: I have recently written a picture book for a celebrity (shhh) and am a ghost writer behind two popular young mystery series (also shhh).

In the adult space. I started my writing career as a romance author for Kensington and yes, I love to watch all the Hallmark movies.

I enjoy working independently or in a collaborative environment. I write fast and makes changes readily. As a side note, I'm also a rabbi, so even though I find myself writing mostly other things (Smurfs, LEGOs, fairies, horses, mysteries, etc...) Jewish interest stories are always intriguing.

I'll gladly help you with your next project whether you need something developed from concept or a revision of your own text.
