Yenthe Joline – Designer

Hi! My name is Yenthe and I am an artist and illustrator from the Netherlands.

I’ve been working as a freelance artist for over 5 years now, doing many different projects from character based illustrations to full cover designs. I specialize in character driven illustrations with a whimsical, lighthearted feeling and I really enjoy working with soft and flowing shapes and lines.

I love storytelling and reading with great passion and I feel incredibly lucky I get to work with so many amazing creatives to help them bring an extra dimension to their stories through art.

In my process I love working closely with my client every step of the way to make sure they absolutely love the final result. I find great pleasure in immersing myself in the story, dedicated to getting every detail right and falling in love with the characters in the process. I’ve learned it really helps me getting the right feeling of the characters and scenes I draw if I know the backstory, relationships and personalities. So I always encourage my clients to send me as much information and vibes as they like.

When you get to know me you’ll find I love fantasy and hobbitcore, am super inspired by nature and you can wake me literally any time to rewatch a Jane Austen movie (for the 8th time) and drink fresh ginger tea with some chocolate.
