Tracy Stewart – Ghostwriter

I'm a ghostwriter, book coach, developmental editor, and fiction author. Originally self-published I now have a multi-book deal with an independent traditional publisher, with the first title releasing in June 2023. I specialize in fiction - contemporary, literary, historical, thriller and timeslip - but also love to work with memoirists.

I'm English but have lived in France for almost ten years. I'm a lover of brocante hunting, local food, walks, and the sea. And, naturally, I'm a bookworm and adore book fairs and browsing the bouquinistes stalls along the banks of the River Seine for used and antiquarian books...

As a ghostwriter, I take great care in understanding and developing the voice of the author to allow their own words and natural delivery to shine through. I'm both methodical and creative, offering a professional service with an approachable and open style to the working relationship, the gathering of the base content material and the end manuscript.

With memoirs, I'm mindful that sensitivity is required, and the reasons for writing a memoir are many and varied. Understanding the author's desired outcomes and choosing the best writing style to achieve their objectives is an integral part of the process, and I take time to ensure that it is clearly established.

One of the most important traits of a ghostwriter is discretion. So, naming names is a no-no!
