Terry Cummings

Terry Cummings – Designer

Award-winning Illustrator/Designer with a flair for creating impactful, conceptually driven imagery.

Overview

I am an Illustrator and Designer originally from Birmingham Alabama.

My work is hard-hitting and strives to be current and relevant. I have a distinct style and am unafraid of pushing boundaries to create the desired effect. My compositions are reminiscent of the classical age with echoes of Art Deco. My ultimate goal is to capture the overall scope of the manuscript and not to literally depict the written word. I strive to make an emotional connection with the reader.

Currently, I am a Digital and Print designer and have worked for Random House, Crown Books, Viking Penguin, and Kensington Press. I am also an Illustrator. I received my BFA from Parsons School of Design in NYC. and spend much of my time designing and coding emails. I am ready to discuss your project and to explore all of the visual solutions to make it a success.
