Taylor Thompson – Editor

My name is Taylor T. and, currently, I work as a contract writer/editor/story associate for Radish Fiction (a digital media and publishing company who specializes in serialized romance fiction). I have a background in publishing of all types: writing, editing, marketing, acquisitions, and social media. In 2017, I graduated from Texas State University with my BA in English Creative Writing and minor in Media Studies, then in 2019, I graduated with my MA in Book Publishing from Portland State University. I've worked in publishing on and off for the last eight years. I have experience working with books of all types, but my favorite ones to work on are romance and young adult. In general, I'm very passionate about the publishing process and how it can be revolutionized going forward so more writers can get their stories out into the world.

Why I'm the perfect person to be your editor: the obvious answer is that I love books and I love publishing, but it's more than that. Every book is unique in its own way, which means it needs individual love and care. The bottom line is that when you care about a project, you give your all in every aspect. I'm a seasoned editor and publishing professional across the board, have experience in multiple places, and I'm dedicated. My dedication leads me to be well organized, but it also leads me to work harder to produce quality content. Some of my favorite things include: coffee, big fluffy dogs, and listening to Harry Styles on repeat while working.
