I have been working as an editorial freelancer for nearly thirty years, for publishers, businesses and direct with authors. I offer editing (developmental/substantive), copy-editing and proofreading). I love working direct with authors - self-publishers or those polishing their manuscripts for agents and traditional publishers - and I like to build a relationship where you feel comfortable asking questions and bouncing ideas off me. I never lose sight of the fact that the book is YOURS and any suggestions I make will be just that (although there will always be a good reason for them).
I have worked as an editorial freelancer for publishers and businesses for nearly thirty years in Ireland and the UK. More recently I have also worked directly with authors preparing for self-publishing or for submission to an agent or traditional publisher. I offer developmental/substantive editing, copy-editing and proofreading, although the job often requires a combination of different types of editorial input.
