Rosie Edwards – Designer

I am an experienced book designer with strong layout and typography skills and a meticulous attention to detail. Over the last twenty years, I have completed a variety of printed books. While at Vertebrate Publishing, I laid out a wealth of guidebooks, biographies, narratives and travel guides. This included cover design, series branding, internal page design and layout that was sympathetic to the existing cover, plus artworking full-colour photographic guidebooks using templates to include information such as elevation and route profiles and mapping. I have also extensive experience typesetting complex narratives featuring footnotes, endnotes, indexes and boxed-out sections.During my time at the fiction imprint of Games Workshop, I designed covers, series branding, special edition art books and typeset internal pages for their science fiction and fantasy ranges.I am an approachable person with a positive, flexible attitude and am extremely organised.
