Overview
As a ghostwriter and researcher, I've worked on some of the bestselling non-fiction books in the UK in the last few years, by leading authors like Tim Shipman, Michael Ashcroft and Peter Oborne. In genre terms, these span politics, history and international affairs.
That's because in my day job I'm an award-winning foreign correspondent and features writer for some of the world's top media, including The Times and Sunday Times, the Financial Times and the Guardian. I've reported from more than a dozen countries in Africa, Asia and Europe. I've written hundreds of stories. I've crafted magazine pieces and celebrity profiles.
What does that mean in practice? It means I interview people. I sit with them, I listen to them. Then I turn their words into the magic of a story. It doesn't matter whether they're a president, a CEO, a child soldier or a clown. I never forget my role: to render in writing the human being in front of me.
With my background as a news editor, deciding which stories end up in a newspaper that millions will read, I know what makes a good one stand out. So if you've got a tale that's ready to shine, say hello.
We all know the feeling when we hear a good story. The world opens up. It has meaning. The fire inside us crackles. We no longer feel so alone.
I want to help you unleash that power.
