Rachel Paul – Editor

I am a copy editor and proofreader with 15+ years of experience in professional publishing. I work in all genres of fiction and nonfiction.

Overview

Greetings! My name is Rachel, and I am a seasoned editor and lover of the written word.

I am committed to helping my clients achieve high-quality publications and have worked with countless independent authors, university presses, academic publishers, and professional organizations.

I am a former managing editor of a major publishing services company and bring with me extensive experience in all aspects of the publishing process, from copyediting to proofreading, design, composition, copywriting, indexing, and project management.

I gathered a wealth of experience during my time in the publishing industry amid the hustle and bustle of the US East Coast. After moving across state lines and finding my place in the gorgeous state of Michigan, I now enjoy the thoughtful pace and charm of the Midwest lifestyle, which has inspired my editing and instilled in me an even deeper appreciation of the written word.

I love working in a collaborative setting to bring a creative publications to life. I work with a multitude of authors from a wide variety of backgrounds to create wonderful books. I particularly enjoy working with aspiring writers and first-time authors, helping them navigate every aspect of their publishing journey via my vast experience in both editing and all aspects of book production.

I look forward to working together and am happy to guide you through your creative process. Please feel free to contact me with your thoughts and ideas. Happy writing!
