Paul Wonders

Paul Wonders – Editor

Copy editor and proofreader specializing in Christian non-fiction

Overview

Whether your manuscript is a mess or you just need to fine-tune your syntax, I'm ready to help.

Expect a prompt response, thorough work, and insightful feedback.

I've been freelancing since 2005, including a three-year stint with Tyndale House Publishers. My non-fiction expertise is in Christianity and biblical studies. Past projects include small-group devotionals, Bible commentaries, and books on Christian living. If you've got an inspirational story to tell or spiritual wisdom to impart, let's make sure you're communicating that message as clearly as possible.

I also welcome novel manuscripts, particularly in speculative fiction. Together we'll ensure that the characters are vivid and memorable, while maintaining fidelity to their world and its laws and parameters.

It was a pleasure working with Paul. This was a developmental and regular editing project. I hired him because he offered to go back through and edit again once I made changes which is something that the other editors didn't offer. That alone made a big difference with the final result. He is extremely professional and knowledgeable. He went above and beyond when editing my book. He communicate...

Paul is extremely patient and thorough, this is why I came back to him for a second time. I would say that one of his strengths is organization. He doesn't just through his ideas in the mix but he suggests some changes that actually make a lot of sense. He is humble and makes himself available to ensure that he understands what is need. Thank you Paul - Look forward to more work in the future.

Paul is an amazing thought partner and has helped execute all of my wants from an editor. He was able to communicate effectively and is extremely fair.
