Overview
I aim to create illustrations that are engaging for adults and children, across a diverse range of topics, often bringing humour and an unexpected visual twist. I like to bring a new perspective to familiar themes. I can equally follow a more prescriptive brief if required.I also publish my own range of children’s books which have been translated into 17 languages and twice nominated for the Kate Greenaway Medal for illustration, shortlisted for the Best British Book Design Awards and the German Youth Literature Prize. The Booktrust has chosen three of my books for their school library packs. I have over 10 years experience as a freelance illustrator working with diverse clients from individuals, agents, publishers and corporations. Publishers include: Little, Brown and Company, HarperCollins, Scholastic, Simon & Schuster. I pride myself on working efficiently to deadlines with good communication throughout the process.
