What do Game of Thrones, women's football, Fortnite, the RSPCA, conspiracy theories, Battlestar Galactica, chakras, outdoor forest adventures, Marvel Super Heroes, Vikings, espionage, Lord of the Rings, the Apollo Moon Landing, calligraphy, street dance, art history, the 1960s, endangered animals, extreme vehicles and the human body all have in common (not to mention sports-related puzzles to keep you occupied when nature calls)?

Well – if you're still awake after trawling through that rambling, oddly diverse list – they’re just some of the subject areas I’ve focused on in over 20 years as a seasoned editor, writer and project-manager in trade non-fiction book and magazine publishing. I've worked on adult and children's general reference books, TV/movie licensed-based partwork series, magazines, websites and interactive pdfs. Clients and employers include Intrepid Books, Summersdale Books, Egmont UK, Eaglemoss Publications, Scholastic, Welbeck (formerly Carlton) Publishing Group, DK, Hachette Partworks, De Agostini, Marshall Editions and Anness Publishing.

A self-employed freelancer since 2009, I'm available for editing, writing, project management, copy-editing, proof-reading and concept development assignments. Please check out my Amazon screenshots (unfortunately most URLs won't link to my Reedsy account) of publications I've worked on, and don't hesitate to contact me if I can be of assistance. Thanks!
