Overview
Between my work with the Kenyon Review and MAYDAY Magazine, I have worked developmentally on over forty fiction pieces which have seen publication, online or in print.
Through Agate and Tin House, I copy edited or proofread nearly ten different titles, across diverse genres and markets. Three of these titles are forthcoming from Tin House Books. I have worked with writing from renowned Chicago Tribune journalist Mary Schmich, debut author Talia Lakshmi Kolluri, and lead singer and songwriter of Fleet Foxes Robin Pecknold, among others.
As a writer as well as an editor, I'm intimately aware of how important editorial support--from the nitty-gritty of checking proofing corrections, to grand-scale developmental work--can be for all writers, especially those working to make their debut. I am a firm believer in the power and value of the written word, and I will always strive to make all writing I work with the best possible version of itself.
If you are looking to find an editor who cares as much for your work as you do (or as close as possible, that is) then please get in touch! I'd love to get to work with you soon.
