Nathan Barnes – Editor

I currently work as an independent contractor for Instaread, a company that produces short, critical reviews of books for popular audiences. As a research editor, I audit all of the drafts of these reviews, reading all of the books and checking for accuracy. In this capacity, I have read more than 1,000 best selling books - at a rate of about eight per week. This has greatly improved my editing technique as I am familiar with current best selling books in almost every genre.

Over the past 20 years, I've helped first time authors publish about 300 books and academic works. Many of these authors have since returned to me for their subsequent projects. Recently I've expanded my business to include a few associate editors and a proofreader because I've been turning away so many new authors. We help authors from the first word all the way through the publication process.
