Overview

I am a German-born, Uk-based Children's book Illustrator using bright, vibrant colours and a rendered style to bring fantastical stories to life! After gaining experience illustrating in the mobile-games industry, I have now been a freelance Illustrator for over six years and have Illustrated the stories of numerous independent authors as well as nine books in the traditional German publishing market.

As a 2D Artist at this small but vibrant studio in the heart of Canterbury I had the pleasure of working in a tight knit team on titles such as 'Captain Planet - Gaia Guardians' and the Amateur Surgeon Series. I created background, character and prop illustrations and aided in UI and graphic design tasks. The work required strict adherence to deadlines, excellent communication and an iterative process with constantly changing parameters and requirements. Not to mention a good sense of humour that could translate into the characters!
