Overview
I am an illustrator and designer with a passionate interest in books for young readers. I specialize in children's books, including picture books, nonfiction books, chapter books, and graphic novels. I have illustrated and designed more than 10 award-winning books published in Germany, Austria, China, and Russia.
I believe that each book is unique and requires a tailored approach, so I develop books from the initial idea and storyboard to illustrations, typography, book interior, and cover design. As an illustrator, I work in a wide range of techniques, including traditional methods (gouache, colored pencils, and collage), digital, and black and white.
Originally from Russia, I am now a New York based illustrator and a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI). I hold a BFA in Illustration from Moscow State University of Printing Arts and have completed a continuing education program in picture book creation at Pratt Institute in New York.

I have worked as a freelance illustrator and book designer with publishers in Europe, China, and Russia on a wide range of children's books (picture books, nonfiction, comics, and chapter books), developing them from the initial idea and storyboard to illustrations, typography, book interior, and cover design.
