Nadja AE – Designer

I have designed book covers for several large publishing houses in Germany, such as Knaus, Piper or Arena Verlag, within a range of genres. I'm mainly experienced in Romance, Pop Science and Literature, and have a passion for women's lit. However, I am always looking forward to expanding my portfolio and tackling new tasks. Internationally, I worked on German book cover versions for best selling authors (e.g. Liane Moriarty).What I love about book design is the quest to translate the voice of an author into visual language. While a book cover needs to work on a commercial level, it is important to me that your book still feels like yours once it has a cover.Being a book lover myself, I enjoy getting to know your work and digging into the text in order to design a cover that corresponds with your book and to attract the audiences you are writing for.I also do illustration work without smashing your budget. You can find a mix of my own illustrations (e.g. "Planet der Algorithmen", or "Minus Gefühle") and illustrations of others in my gallery.
