Anna Morrison – Editor

I am an editor and poet with experience at every level of writing, editing, and production. As a Senior Editor at Kelsey Street Press for five years, I edited innovative, award-winning books of poetry and prose, collaborating with authors, other editors, book designers, printers, and distributors. Highlights include editing Rings by Jasmine Dreame Wagner (recipient of a Starred Review in Publishers Weekly), Recombinant by Ching-In Chen (a LAMBDA Winner in Transgender Poetry), and The Selected Poems of Cecilia Vicuña (a bilingual edition of poetry and art spanning decades). I've also copyedited and proofread titles such as 7 Days and Night in the Desert (Tracing the Origin) by Sabrina Dalla Valle, Premonition by Etel Adnan, and Nests and Strangers: On Asian American Women Poets. My own writing has appeared in journals such as BOMB, Fence, Lana Turner, Interim, and Puerto del Sol. My Chapbook Water in Three Acts was selected as part of Newfound's Emerging Poets Chapbook Series, and I've also been selected as a finalist for the National Poetry Series.
