Overview
At Grand Central Publishing, I worked with brands such as Sprinkles Cupcakes; DŌ, Cookie Dough Confections; and Duke's Mayonnaise and am familiar with incorporating branding guidelines and voice into book projects. I also had the opportunity to work with celebrities and chefs including Gwyneth Paltrow, Gordon Ramsay, David Burtka, Mark Ladner, and others. I'm very comfortable collaborating with large teams and coordinating with difficult schedules. Further back in my career, my managing editorial experience has given me a keen eye for details, as well as some experience in copyediting and proofreading.
I'm available for a wide range of editorial services, whether it be shaping an idea, tailoring a proposal to a publisher's needs, a light first edit, or a complete editorial overhaul. I can also edit/test recipes, Americanize, and act as a ghostwriter or collaborator.
After a decade in New York, I returned to my home state of Pennsylvania, immediately got a dog, and have been repainting our house for the past six months. I love to travel and would enjoy working in-person to edit or attend photo shoots.

Line edit, transmit, and shepherd books through the production process on a work-for-hire basis. I coordinate with members of the publishing team as-needed to consult on book design, copyediting, color proofing, photo retouching, and cover and promotional copy.
Grand Central Publishing
Acquired and edited commercially-minded cookbook and lifestyle titles for a busy imprint of Hachette Book Group. Published books in coordination with brands (Instant Pot®) and with companies (ITV) to negotiate licensing agreements and develop projects. Partnered with independent designers and collaborators to craft a unique look for each book project. Worked closely with authors to ensure that they were consulted through every aspect of the book, from cover design to color proofing and paper selection.
Grand Central Life & Style
Expanded my own list of titles while continuing to support Editorial Director of imprint. Coordinated with Goop team for their Goop Press imprint; assessed their list of experts to find viable book concepts that fit within the Grand Central list. Developed expertise in 4-color publishing processes, from pre-acquisition and acquisition phases through design passes and color proofing processes.
