Molly Hodgin – Editor

The Foreword Collective was founded in 2017 and employs a wide variety of creative professionals on a per project basis including experienced editors and ghostwriters. Molly has over a few 16 years of publishing experience, and she wants to put that experience to work for you.

I served first as the Editorial Director and then as the Associate Publisher for the Specialty Division of HarperCollins Christian Publishing working to create and acquire gift books, children's books, and new media products with authors and brands including Sarah Young, Max Lucado, Shauna Niequist, Candace Cameron Bure, Melanie Shankle, Ann Voskamp, Annie F. Downs, Lee Strobel, Coffee + Crumbs, Karen Kingsbury, and Mark Batterson.

I worked as a Senior Editor for Scholastic, Inc., acquiring, editing, and managing products for brands such as Star Wars, Pokemon, Bakugan, Barbie, Zhu Zhu Pets, and numerous movies including the Harry Potter films.

I started as an editorial assistant and worked my way up to editor while acquiring and editing books for major brands including Strawberry Shortcake, All Aboard Reading, Backyard Sports, and numerous film tie-ins. I also worked on fiction series such as Flirt, Monster Squad, and Katie Kazoo Switcheroo.
