As an illustrator and comic artist, I bring a bold and sharp look to my projects. I’ve done covers and interior sequential pages for the Naval Institute Press, Cambium Learning, Learning A-Z, Dead Reckoning, HardcoreGaming101, Advent Comics, Jumpstart Comics, and many, many independent publications.
No matter the genre, I love to create visuals based on your story and find the best way to make your project stand out. I love to tailor the style of a project to the overall experience the writer and editor are looking to invoke in the reader. Sharp, angular figures and strange panel shapes might suit a horror book better than a more realistic looking product, that's heavily shadowed, with more standard camera angles and panel layouts. Working with a team to pull the visuals into new, exciting avenues is something I spend just as much time on as I spend on the finished illustrations, so we can create a unique product that reflects both the writing and art in perfect synchronization for ultimate effect.
