Projects

Darrin Bell — Pulitzer Prize-winner for Editorial Cartooning

I recently executed a concept website design project for author Darrin Bell, with a focus on showcasing his latest work, "The Talk." The website incorporates essential features to engage visitors and effectively promote the book.

The website begins with a striking hero image and a compelling tagline. As it is the key element of the website, the prominent display of reviews from reputable publications sets the tone, immersing visitors in the ratings "The Talk" has gathered. Visitors can explore these reviews to gain a deeper understanding of the powerful themes explored in "The Talk."

The website also dedicates a section to provide comprehensive information about Darrin Bell, the author. This section showcases his background, and notable achievements, giving visitors a holistic view of the author's expertise and creative journey.

The website also integrates e-commerce functionality. Visitors can easily navigate to the book's page, where they can access additional details and purchase the title directly from the website. The user-friendly interface and streamlined checkout process ensure a smooth and convenient shopping experience for readers.

Brittany Bravo — Capturing her community with a sense of power

The concept web design project for Brittany Bravo's "Latinx" photo book features a modern and intuitive user interface, with a clean design that allows the vibrant photographs to take center stage, providing users with a captivating visual journey through Latinx culture and community. The website also incorporates storytelling elements, offering background information about the photos, the photographer, and the cultural significance behind the captured moments. The layout will create an immersive and inclusive online space that celebrates the beauty and diversity of Latinx culture.

Brit Bennett — #1 New York Times Bestselling Author, African American Fiction

The main focus of this concept redesign project was to create a fully responsive and engaging website that would showcase her work in the best possible way.

The new website features a modern and aesthetically pleasing design, carefully crafted to reflect Brit Bennett's unique style and literary works. It has been optimized to adapt seamlessly across various devices, ensuring a smooth user experience for visitors on desktops, tablets, and smartphones.

Throughout the redesign process, user experience was at the forefront. The website's navigation is intuitive and user-friendly, making it easy for visitors to find the information they seek effortlessly. Additionally, the redesign optimized the loading times, ensuring that users can access the content quickly without any frustrating delays.

Overall, the revamped website for Brit Bennett is a testament to the seamless fusion of responsive design and captivating multimedia integration, creating an online platform that beautifully represents the essence of her literary world.
