Lead a team of poet-editors in discussion of craft, voice, and fit within the voice and mission of the publication. Edit poems. Correspond with poets. Collaborate with editorial team to review and ensure quality of the finished product in print and online.

Design hybrid online/in-class undergraduate courses in Magazine Writing, Marketing Communications, and Photography. Create and deliver presentations on a variety of topics relevant to course material. Counsel students on assignments, research, and other academic matters. Write assignment rubrics and evaluate work based on them. Critique student work and encourage students in their progress toward final portfolio work.

Structural, line, and copy editing for all aspects of this quarterly, ad-free, book-length magazine. Consulting on production management and editorial design best practices, house style, and editorial voice. Wrote headlines, captions, features, and other copy. I started in a copy chief role, then moved into executive editor role.
