Overview
I'm a designer with over 13 years of publishing and illustration experience and a fine art background. My design career started with an internship at Quarto Publishing Group where I first fell in love with book design.
I spent over 10 years as the lead creative for a marketing agency where I learned the importance of deadlines and client communication. Now, I spend my days full-time freelancing. I love working on informational and instructional books, especially if they have to do with crafts, plants, kids or animals.
Connecting and collaborating on projects is a huge passion of mine. In addition to top-notch creative solutions, I pinky swear to deliver an eye for detail, a good attitude and possibly a cheesy joke or two!

Collaboration is a huge part of my process but my broad range of skills has given me the ability to fill many roles and work independently. I create book promotion graphics for book signing events for celebrity authors. Including social media ads and organic post graphics.
GLAD WORKS
I lead a team of creatives at a busy marketing agency. Responsibilities included: web, print, email, application, sign and brand design. I also customized marketing plans, developed website wireframes and communicated with clients. As part of my managerial duties, I oversaw, directed and trained a full creative team.

I started working with the amazing team at Quarto during my internship in 2007. Since then I have loved collaborating with multiple art directors on book covers, custom illustrations and book layouts.
