Excel with timely, high-quality performance of assigned editorial or production activities measured by the established key performance indicators and benchmarks to ensure consistent, positive feedback from KGL Editorial clients; generate ideas for improving quality, efficiencies, and cost-effectiveness; contribute to company growth through identification of opportunities with new or existing clients and professional networking; develop protocols and on-board new clients; train and supervise five direct reports as well as junior support staff based in the US and India.

Develop and lead the IASLC’s journals portfolio in alignment with the IASLC’s mission; oversee the publication of Journal of Thoracic Oncology (JTO) and JTO Clinical and Research Reports (JTO CRR), including the supervision of an Editorial Consultant and Editorial Assistant; work cross-functionally and collaboratively across the organization to support IASLC activities such as membership, as well as publication and promotion of scientific research; represent the IASLC journals within the organization and serve as an IASLC representative to external stakeholders; founding member of “Culture Club” supporting organization’s culture and values; co-chair Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee

Oversaw publication of scientific journal (744 pages/year); managed growth from six to nine issues per year; transitioned three editors
