Lucile Merveille

Lucile Merveille – Designer

French illustrator who loves to tell stories through visuals. Experienced in editorial illustration for child-friendly and lifestyle content

Overview

I'm Lucile, an illustrator based in France.

After getting my master's degree in Art Direction from Penninghen in Paris, I've worked for lifestyle, decor and children's magazines for two years before going freelance and creating illustrations for brands and advertising agencies. I'm inspired by everything around me and love listening to people and bringing their ideas to life.

I draw everything by hand before scanning my drawings and perfecting them with Photoshop. I mostly work with oil pastels and pastel pencils.

Here is my design process:

PHASE 1

I set up a meeting where I learn more about you, your project and your inspirations. During this session, we clarify the concept and outline a clear direction.

PHASE 2

I create a different sketches and send them to you, you choose the one that appeals the most to you and you give me some feedback to make the final illustration as perfect as possible.

PHASE 3

I work on the final illustration and take your previous feedback into account.

Finally, I send you the finished product and we discuss the last adjustements to make it as perfect as you envisioned.

I look forward to discovering all of your exciting projects!
