Overview

I’m a writer, editor, and recipe developer with twelve years of experience. After earning a Grand Diploma in Pastry Arts from The French Culinary Institute, I worked at Bon Appétit, writing about cooking trends, ingredients, restaurants, and culinary travel. I then spent eight years at Epicurious, overseeing recipe development, testing, and editing, and writing and editing stories featuring the likes of Dorie Greenspan, Melissa Clark, Ina Garten, Gabrielle Hamilton, Sam Sifton, and Rose Levy Beranbaum.

As a freelancer, I focus on cookbooks and have worked extensively with both chefs and food bloggers. Recent projects include Meike Peters’ Eat in My Kitchen, Anna Watson Carl’s The Yellow Table Cookbook, Dale Talde’s Asian American, Kille Enne’s My Aroma, Beyond the Plate: Top Food Blogs from Around the World, and the forthcoming cookbook from The Cook’s Atelier. I also tests recipes for The New York Times, and have written for Tastebook, TODAY, Cherry Bombe, Yahoo, Gourmet Live, Tasting Table, Food & Wine, Chocolatier, and Rodale's Organic Life.
