As a freelancer, I focus on cookbooks and have worked extensively with both chefs and food bloggers. Recent projects include Meike Peters’ Eat in My Kitchen, Anna Watson Carl’s The Yellow Table Cookbook, Dale Talde’s Asian American, Kille Enne’s My Aroma, Beyond the Plate: Top Food Blogs from Around the World, and the forthcoming cookbook from The Cook’s Atelier. I also tests recipes for The New York Times, and have written for Tastebook, TODAY, Cherry Bombe, Yahoo, Gourmet Live, Tasting Table, Food & Wine, Chocolatier, and Rodale's Organic Life.

Develop, test, and edit recipes for cookbooks, magazines, and digital publications. Write about cooking trends, chefs, culinary techniques, ingredients, cookbooks, and entertaining for both print and digital media. Provide other services related to cookbook production, including research, writing, copyediting, proofreading, and project management.

Oversaw all original recipe development, testing, editing, and photography, including hiring freelancers and managing the recipe budget. Conceived and executed multi-media packages devoted to major holidays. Wrote and edited long and short form articles on a wide range of culinary topics. Produced video and photo shoots, occasionally appearing on camera for in-house videos, as well as local and national broadcast television.
