Since Luma launched back in 2016, a lot has changed, but one thing has stayed firmly in place - Luma does good work for good people.

Working with the most socially conscious brands in Manchester’s construction industry, Luma helps them to shine.

I’d already been working with Luma for almost two years when this project came in, so I knew the founder well.

It was a joy to bring her vision to life, and to guide her through the rediscovery of her own businesses visual tone of voice.

Working with Luma, we do this regularly for their clients - but when its for your own brand, it’s a little different.

Blush: Honest Digital Marketing | Wordpress Website and Branding

Honest digital marketing that works.

Blush is a small team of SEO experts who take their work seriously, but have a playful side, too.

They had a logo, but no ‘brand’ as such, and came to me to design their new website.

With this in mind, I took them through my branding process to create a brand book that felt really resonant, before jumping into the website design.

Starting with a journey map and page-by-page wireframes, I worked with developers to create a completely custom website for Blush that reflected exactly who they are.

Kollectify: Creative Content Marketing | Squarespace Website and Branding

Seriously creative content marketing.

Kollectify launched early 2019 with a logo they loved, but without much wider branding consideration.

As the only content marketing specialists who deliver exclusively for Shopify Apps, they'd seen rapid growth, and were keen to take stock and make their website feel more aligned.

The previous website was very text heavy, and didn’t communicate the key component of their brand’s personality - they are ENGAGING. They make their clients’ content more inspiring, which in turn increases customer engagement.

I always recommend walking through a brand book exercise before taking on website redesign projects, to make sure that the visual tone of voice is totally aligned - and this was pivotal for Kollectify.

We developed a collage approach, showing how all the different areas of expertise come together to create something magic - something that WORKS.

Armed with a new colour palette and a suite of branded mark-making assets, I created a brand new Squarespace site that not only feels engaging for this customers, but now feels aligned with Kollectify’s founder, too.

The Body Shop: Global Self-care Beauty Brand | Website Content Design and Email Design

Love your body.
My contract at The Body Shop saw me heading up their digital design arm of the international team.

This meant that I created the core designs that were given to each local market (e.g UK, Australia, USA, Dubai) for their teams to then roll out.

During my time at The Body Shop, I worked on multiple product/range launches and was tasked with creating content that would engage and inspire, and would stack neatly to work responsively.

I also worked closely with the marketing department to design email campaign templates for their global teams of designers to work from to create local territory content.

True Basis Health: Wellbeing Coaching and Programmes | Wordpress Website and Branding

Wellness programmes that take you from overwhelm to curating your ideal life.

True Basis Health offers wellness memberships, coaching programmes and events speaking services.

Justine Leconte: Ethical and Sustainable Fashion Designer | Shopify Website and Branding

A sustainable fashion influencer focusing on transparency, quality, and personal style.

Justine Leconte offers an ethical alternative to fast fashion (via a fashion label) and gives women the tools to build ethical and enjoyable wardrobes for themselves (via influencer YouTube content).

Justine Leconte had a logo, and a wider brand that felt flat and no longer reflective of a brand that had grown an audience +1 million strong.

I was approached for a thorough end-to-end process, starting with mood boards, into a brand book, before jumping into the website design and a suite of email templates.

Starting with a journey map and page-by-page wireframes, I worked with developers to choose a new Shopify theme, and create a new website for Justine that better reflected the growth of her brand and audience.
