Kinza Lameria

Kinza Lameria – Editor

Romance & Women's Fiction editor with five years experience at a Big 5 publisher - working with NY & Sunday Times bestsellers.

Overview

With over five years of experience at a Big Five publisher, I specialise in Romance and contemporary commercial fiction. Whether you're crafting a swoon-worthy romance or a compelling contemporary narrative, I’m here to help you elevate your manuscript with thoughtful, insightful, and fun editorial guidance.

As an Editor, I understand the delicate balance between refining a story and preserving an author’s unique voice. My editorial approach is encouraging and creative - I want you to come away from our collaboration not only with a stronger manuscript but also with skills and insights you can carry forward into future projects.

I offer developmental editing, structural and line editing, as well as assistance with query packages and book proposals. I’ve worked extensively with self-published authors, helping them refine their hooks, sharpen their market positioning, and, in many cases, transition to traditional publishing. If you’re looking for long-term editorial support or guidance on how to make your book stand out, I’d love to help.

I have published and marketed a wonderful range of best-selling books successfully and have vast experience attending acquisitions meetings for all types of books, so I have a sharp sense of what publishers want and how to pitch to them.

I’m passionate about working closely with writers at all stages—whether you're polishing your manuscript for submission, perfecting your pitch, or simply figuring out the heart of your story. Let’s make your book the best it can be!
