Experienced children's book editor with more than one hundred titles in my portfolio. Master of Arts in Publishing. Voracious reader.
Overview
I have five years experience in trade publishing, previously as a copy editor for various nonfiction genres and as a developmental editor for children's picture books. In addition to my experience, I have a BA in English and an MA in Publishing, with a concentration on writing and editing. My graduate thesis examined censorship in children's literature over the last fifty years.
I have a deep interest in children's books, particularly middle grade and young adult. I will be happy to offer copy editing and proofreading for any full-length manuscripts in those categories as well as memoir or pop culture.
