Katerina Pushkina – Designer

I grew up in a family of artists, surrounded by books and art albums, and for me drawing stories always was as natural as breathing. Now I'm a freelance artist with over 15 years of experience creating art for award-winning interactive entertainment and children's books. I work both with digital and traditional media, and always try to develop a visual style to complement the mood of the story. My style varies from cute and charming to mysterious and surreal. I usually start with discussing the mood the author wishes to convey, and storyboarding the whole project in rough sketches. Then we go through as many revisions as necessary to perfectly express the author's idea, and end up with a visual story that meets and exceeds their expectations.
