Katelyn Turner – Editor

Professional editor here to help with all of your non-fiction copyediting needs, from trade to textbooks and everything in between.

Overview

I am a graduate of the University of Colorado Boulder. I have a BA degree in English literature and a BS degree in journalism. Since graduating, I have worked as an assistant editor at Rowman & Littlefield. I work on a range of non-fiction books with an academic bent, from trade books to college textbooks. My senior editor and I specialize in geography, world and international history, and area studies (especially Latin America, Asia, and Russia). My job responsibilities involve overlooking the entire process of the book's life from a draft manuscript up until it publishes; I send books out for peer review, format manuscripts, create art logs, submit cover design requests, and act as the main contact for authors throughout the entire process.I also freelance copyedit for Waveland Press, a textbook publisher. I have edited several manuscripts for them on a range of topics. It is a very different task from my job at Rowman & Littlefield, and I love that I am able to work on books in two varying capacities.I look forward to copyediting books through Reedsy, within a range of genres and topics.TESTIMONIALS FROM ACKNOWLEDGMENT PAGES"With. . .
