Responsibilities have included working with a financial technology start-up to devise the text and metadata for a new website; produce LinkedIn adverts and job descriptions; and write and review blog articles and marketing material. I have also proof-read articles, theses and books for academics, edited a children’s book, and researched and completed the preliminary drafts of a novel.

Responsibilities included global strategy, management and development of Palgrave’s holdings in language and linguistics; extensive market research; proposing, commissioning and developing profitable monographs, series, handbooks and key titles; cultivating and managing external relationships with authors, advisors and series editors; management of editorial assistant; running the language and linguistics Twitter feed; writing, editing and evaluating cover copy.

Responsibilities included proposing, commissioning and developing profitable monographs and other scholarly titles in occupational and health psychology; researching the market to identify opportunities for list development; cultivating and managing external relationships with authors and advisors; project management and development of titles from contract through to publication; writing and editing cover copy.
