Hi, I'm Jordan. I'm an illustrator who lives in Brisbane, Australia. My mission is to create striking cover images to help readers find and connect with your amazing stories. My comfort zone is illustration that employs a line-art-and-colour methodology, but I welcome opportunities to step outside of that and create imagery that draws on more diverse stylistic lineages.

The most rewarding part of my job is working with you to distil what's essential in your story—or even just one climactic scene—and crafting an image that breathes and pulses with the vitality of your world. In terms of subject matter, I try to pursue less conventional angles to help your book cover stand apart on the shelf. I'm open to helping you materialise visual ideas you have already developed, or brainstorming possibilities from scratch if you don't know which direction to go yet.

Your budget and lead time before release will determine how elaborate a cover design I can produce for you, but even if you don't have much to spend and you need it quickly, I can help your book get released with something eye-catching on the front. Some things to keep in mind if you'd like to work with me:

- I typically need a minimum of eight weeks development time to produce a book cover that both you and I will be happy with. This period includes all the necessary back and forth we'll have trading ideas and making decisions.

- Before we start, I'll need you to have your final page extent, trim size, and paper stock decided. This will mean I can start working on composition ideas without any question marks over dimensions and aspect ratio.

- I don't use AI at any stage of my process, but if you've used AI to help with your initial ideas and you'd like me to take cues from what you've generated, I'm happy to refer to it in my illustration.

- My time zone is GMT+10, so there might be a few hours between you writing and me responding.
