Overview

I'm a Chicagoland based Designer with several years of experience as an Art Director and Cover Designer for adult fiction and non-fiction imprints. Prior to working in publishing, I worked as a Designer in marketing and advertising; which gives me an edge when it comes to designing book covers that will resonate well with readers. I've worked on covers for several best-selling books, and would love to add your book to that list!

As your designer, it is my goal to create a cover that you will love. I enjoy partnering with authors who have a clear vision of what they want their book to be/look like. I also enjoy the challenge of helping an author to determine what that vision should be. Either way, I appreciate receiving a lot of information about your book (the content, the setting, the main characters, the other books that you feel are good comps) up front so that I can provide you with the best concepts possible.

Not only did Heather create a brilliant book jacket that was beyond my expectations, she also made it so EASY! She asked all the right questions, was in constant communication, and delivered a cover that spoke to the story in a unique way that was also on trend. I loved our collaboration, which is why she will be my go-to for all my designing needs. – Portia Tickell, author of A Family Past
