I am an experienced editorial and publishing consultant who specializes in editing and promoting fiction and non-fiction Faith books. I have worked in the industry for over a decade and have helped authors and publishers reach hundreds of thousands of readers across international markets. I am also a published writer and have written for mainstream media publications like the Financial Times and published an academic monograph with a major university press.

Being an author and having worked in the industry, I know what it takes to finish a manuscript. I regularly take part in acquisition meetings, so know what publishers look for. I have excellent book marketing experience and am in regular contact with key industry contacts. Before working in publishing I worked as a Lecturer in English Literature.

My focus is typically in the Faith sector, but I am open to working in other sectors like: Academic Humanities, Contemporary Fiction, Historical Fiction, Short Story and Poetry.

Johnathan was a careful editor who offered a ton of tough love. He show me how I often got ahead of myself and needed to fill in the steps from a to e when I had left them out. He is knowledgeable about philosophy and good English writing.

I really like what Jonathan did, especially his report and the inserted (using Word change tracking) comments on how something could be better. The punctuation fixes (97% of which were my putting a comma outside of a quote) got a little tedious for me to accept, but I'm sure it was tedious for him as well. A universal-replace (CTRL H) could have accomplished the same thing, but I never though...
