Jonathan Pountney – Editor

I am an experienced editorial and publishing consultant. I have worked in the industry for over a decade and have helped authors and publishers reach hundreds of thousands of readers across international markets. I am also a published writer and have written for mainstream media publications like the Financial Times and published an academic monograph with a major university press.

Being an author and having worked in the industry, I know what it takes to finish a manuscript. I regularly take part in acquisition meetings, so know what publishers look for. I have excellent book marketing experience and am in regular contact with key industry contacts. Before working in publishing I worked as a Lecturer in English Literature.

My focus is typically in the Faith sector, but I am open to working in other genres like: Academic Humanities, Contemporary Fiction, Historical Fiction, Middle Grade Fiction, Short Story and Poetry.
