Previous positions include Managing Editor (university press), General Manager (books), Director of Product Development (education), Production Editor, and Commissioning Editor (travel and culture).

I work on a wide variety of projects, including books and magazines, marketing and PR copy, and digital media content. I provide complete publishing services to authors, managing the entire process from manuscript development, publisher submissions, and editorial consultation, through to delivery of the finished book.

For authors interested in self publishing, I can assist throughout the entire process, from the first edit through to page layout and, if required, production and printing.

I also help academics and post-graduate writers prepare dissertations and theses for publication, assisting in the production of short print runs, including print on demand and e-book editions. I offer proofreading and editorial support to give students an edge in making their work easy to read and ensuring it delivers maximum impact.

University of the South Pacific

Developed and launched USP Press for the University of the South Pacific (USP), a regional university with twelve member nations across the Pacific region. Housed within the Oceania Centre for Arts, Culture and Pacific Studies on the Suva campus, USP Press was officially launched in June 2012.

Based in Dubai, I managed the book publishing division for Motivate Publishing, one of the region’s leading book and magazine publishers. Motivate’s list of more than 250 titles forms the most comprehensive collection of works published about the Arabian Gulf, in both English and Arabic.

In this role I managed the development of software products, primarily related to literacy testing and strengthening reading skills, including online applications, product extensions and all editorial content. Prior to this, I was the Managing Editor at Scolastic Australia's Education division.
